I’m Heather Bowerman. This notice explains how information is used on my personal website.

Contact

When you use the contact form, Formspree processes and stores your name, email address, and message and delivers your inquiry to me. I use this information to respond and handle related follow-up. I keep correspondence for as long as needed for those purposes; Formspree’s storage also depends on its service policies and account settings. Contacting me does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

Please don’t include medical records or other sensitive health information.

Site operation and security

Vercel hosts this site, and Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the contact form from spam. These services process technical information, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and protect the site.

Analytics

Only if you accept, Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information about visits, including pages viewed, device and browser details, approximate location, and referral sources. I use this information to understand how the site is used.

Google Analytics user and event data retention is set to 14 months. Aggregated reports may remain available longer.

If you decline, Google Analytics does not load. You can change your choice through Cookie settings. Withdrawing consent stops future collection from this browser; it does not automatically erase previously collected data.

Questions and requests

Use the contact form for privacy questions or requests concerning your information. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, restrict or object to its use, and complain to a data protection authority.
